We are honored and excited to announce that REX Real Estate has made a landmark three-year commitment as the Presenting Sponsor of our annual fundraiser, Gala at the ‘Gait. As the presenting sponsor in 2025, we are so grateful to have REX Real Estate continue its support for our mission to help children and adults with disabilities, as well as the families and communities we serve.

“Sherese and Rex Glendenning are true trailblazers. Their continued support sets the standard for what community partnership looks like and directly expands our ability to serve hundreds of families waiting to receive healing through ManeGait’s programs,” said Priscilla Darling, ManeGait Co-Founder.

The announcement was made at the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), where REX Real Estate Broker and Owner, Rex Glendenning, was honored with the prestigious 2025 Stemmons Service Award. Glendenning, known for his high-impact approach to land development and his commitment to strengthening communities, received the award for his decades of service to land development and investment across the Dallas–Fort Worth region. In a meaningful gesture, NTCAR also made a donation in his honor directly to ManeGait, connecting the region’s commercial real estate community to the life-changing work happening in the therapeutic arena. ManeGait Founders Priscilla and Bill Darling were present for the occasion and asked to speak to the group about the impact ManeGait is making in the community.

Sherese and Rex Glendenning are also champions of The Beacon Project, ManeGait’s capital expansion initiative that will double the organization’s capacity to serve hundreds of families waiting for services. When completed this summer, The Beacon Project will position ManeGait to serve North Texas for the next 50 years, ensuring that equine-assisted therapy remains accessible to generations of individuals and families who need it most.

The Gala at the ‘Gait is ManeGait’s premier fundraising event, celebrating the community that makes our mission possible. This year’s 19th annual Gala, taking place on Saturday October, 17th, marks a special milestone. It will be the first one held in ManeGait’s stunning new facility. Featuring dual arenas and a dedicated events space, the evening will be truly one of a kind. Twenty of the region’s top restaurants will provide a Taste of Style dinner, and the night will conclude with live entertainment by the Josh Abbott Band. All proceeds support ManeGait’s four pillars of impact: Equine-Assisted Therapy, Brain Building, Community Center, and Knowledge Center.
