After months of hard work, big milestones, and the unwavering support of this incredible community, the pieces are falling beautifully into place. As of March 2026, $11.8 million has been raised toward this $13.2 million expansion project, a powerful reflection of the generosity and belief behind this vision. This year, we have been blessed to witness such momentous progress made for The Beacon Project and are excitedly waiting for the expected completion at the end of Q2 2026.

✦ Event Plaza - Complete!
With the generous support of the McKinney Community Development Corporation, our Special Event Plaza is now complete. Thoughtfully designed with lush turf, shade sails, inviting lighting, picnic tables, and fresh landscaping, this space is ready to welcome gatherings of all kinds. It is perfectly timed for the beautiful spring days ahead and will serve as a vibrant hub for community connection.
✦ Administrative and Therapy Center - Fully Operational!
All 16,000 square feet of our Administrative and Therapy Center are now fully operational. The community gathering and training room features advanced technology that powers our Knowledge Center, creating new opportunities for learning and collaboration. Throughout the building, carefully selected furnishings support a workspace that is efficient, functional, and welcoming. We are especially grateful to Chandler Cabinets for generously donating all of the cabinetry in the new administration building. Their contribution not only enhances the beauty and functionality of the space but also represents the kind of partnership that continues to bring this project to life.
✦ 32-Stall Barn - Coming Soon!
Construction on the 32-stall barn continues to make steady progress. We are excited to soon welcome our four-legged therapists into a space designed with their care and comfort in mind. Projected to be completed just in time for summer, marking another meaningful step forward for The Beacon Project. In June 2025, our therapy herd and barn staff have been and will continue utilizing the second arena that was completed in May 2025 as a temporary barn until their new home is complete.
We are so blessed to have the support of this incredible community that has brought us this far, and we look forward to sharing even more progress in the weeks ahead.
